nat & jamie’s backyard wedding
nat and jamie were married on a crisp day in november, in the midst of tight pandemic restrictions and pulled off a beautiful micro celebration with their loved ones in their own backyard — and to that, i say long live the backyard wedding. they were married right there on the back deck they had built. granny squares and twinkle lights lit up the space, and everyone enjoyed drinks around the fire pit until the sun went down. the whole evening felt like stepping through a portal into somewhere else — somewhere serene, calm, and comfortable. dave and i would photograph days like this over and over.
