nyree & andrew's wedding at archeo restaurant in toronto

i walked into nyree's family home covered with old pictures on the walls and immediately felt at home. when nyree wrote to me describing what she had in mind for her wedding day, everything clicked: a reunion bringing every part of their family and chosen family together, low on traditions and high on hugs. they didn't have a bridal party, nyree ditched the idea of a white dress in lieu for a gorgeous purple gown, and they greeted every single guest as they arrived to archeo restaurant in toronto on a sunny september day. nyree and andrew flew in from alberta, and friends and family from all over and all parts of their lives. and nyree's mom made the wedding cake, which was earmarked in an old cook book from nyree's childhood. and when it was time to start, nyree and andrew walked into the ceremony together, hand in hand. nothing better, we loved this day.
