victoria & elliott, and a wedding day grown from their hands & hearts in niagara
i know "handmade" and "DIY" are all terms thrown around weddings a lot these days. regardless of trend, i also know victoria & elliott couldn't have done things any other way, it's just a part of their nature. this, i really admire.we have the honour of photographing some of v & e's good friends this upcoming summer, and in getting to know them we of course spent some time talking about our common connection, as you do. they described coming home during the summer and finding baskets of food on their doorstep from victoria & elliott's backyard garden, and i believe it. they are the kind of people who make things for others to enjoy.from the plants grown and jewelry made by victoria for her bridesmaids, to the handmade charcuterie boards and casks of beer made by the former brewmaster elliott for the evening, the day was never about putting on a show as weddings sometimes are, but about giving away beauty and love to those around them. from their bountiful backyard compound to the little white chapel where they married and the big barn at ball's falls in vineland, mother nature shared her beauty with us too. we did our best to revel in it & capture what we could of it.even when the cask tapping went awry....CLICK TO SEE MORE
