STEPH & HER KIDS IN PORTLAND

While in Portland this past November, we had the pleasure of making a few new friends -- among them, Steph and her two kids. Our friends that we were staying with put us in touch and we arranged to meet up at the local park for the afternoon, having only written a few emails back and forth to each other....I loved it. Running around after her kids. Hearing Sophia's imagination run wild and tell me made up stories.. hearing about school and the latest favourite video game from Kelso.. chatting and laughing with Steph. I loved getting this peek into who these kids are and imagining the people they are day by day growing into.It made me think about how much these two are going to change over the years... and that something as ordinary as an afternoon running around the park after school will no longer be a part of their day-to-day, but one of the many memories of this lovely little family. Dave + I loved getting to document this small but I think important piece of life for these guys :)..Portland, November 2012
