CHRIS & SARAH IN COLORADO
.. life is broken up into chapters. and life is about serendipitous timing and looking up one day and realizing that your path has brought you side by side with someone else's path. and for a while, for a season, who really knows how long, you get to walk in sync with them and learn from them and they from you.we met a couple at a photography conference last summer -- she was speaking, he joined the group for dinner that evening, we had some drinks, started a friendship. a name was brought up in the course of conversation. it was chris' name. later, when the conference was over and we were back home, we were put in touch with chris and many emails and skype conversations later, i can't explain it but we just clicked and we were making plans to meet up with him and sarah in colorado as we were coming through on our road trip in november.sarah and chris are closing their chapter on colorado. they are closing their chapter on their house with chickens in the backyard, and chris working all hours on his mba. they're looking forward to a new chapter in the sarah & chris story, and it was an honour to document the closing pages on the part of the story in colorado. we're excited that we've found ourselves walking a path with them for this season, these beautiful dream-big souls.. :)chris sent us an email shortly after we left them, that i ear-marked and kept tucked away for a day when i needed a smile.. You and Dave have a gift of drawing your clients into the present. The photo that you attached to this email captures that moment for Sarah and me. With the busyness of school, the venture, and car breakdowns, your visit couldn't have come a more perfect time. Thank you for blessing us and reminding us that there are bigger things going on around us... a peek at our time together..These photos were taken in the incredibly beautiful state of Colorado (specifically, Rocky Mountain Park), November 2012ps -- i would like chickens in my backyard. best scrambled eggs in history.
