A DAY IN JANUARY
I told someone yesterday who asked me how I became a photographer that I started out loving to take pictures and that as the years have passed I've discovered that what I actually love is being able to tell stories through this tool in my hand called a camera. Now I don't profess to be the best at it, this telling stories business, but I do know that I want to get better, all the time. And I feel that each project I start and finish leads me one step closer in that direction. This is a very ordinary January day, how life is right now... we ate yogurt and pears for breakfast... we chatted on Skype with a few people... went for a walk... saw discarded christmas trees... did work... saw the Hobbit. And I'm not saying it's brilliant and putting out such personal work makes me feel vulnerable, but ordinary days I fear get forgotten amongst everything else and this is the stuff I want to remember :) Eventually things will change and we will change.... and this is the stuff I want to see everyday and remember and be thankful for. Thanks for letting me show you a little peek inside our normal day-to-day :) xo, jenn
