LOVE FROM STYLE ME PRETTY

Cannot thank the lovely people behind Style Me Pretty enough for featuring Sandy & Alex's wedding yesterday! ....seriously, Dave and I are sitting here sheepishly reading your lovely words... thank you is not enough. But thank you :)Thank you as well to Sandy & Alex for creating such a lovely atmosphere for their wedding day and having us come along to the west coast last summer to document it for them! This job, this life... none of it just happens, it's a lot of hard work that's made easier and so rewarding when you have people like this come alongside you. To see more of Sandy & Alex's day and hear about it all in their own words, head over the Style Me Pretty and check out their lovely feature HERE :)These past few weeks have seen us spending more time in cars and planes than with our own two feet on the ground! The travel has mostly been for work, which has been pretty darn exciting as there's nothing that lights a fire inside us like going someplace new to do what we love. It's like within new surroundings you're better able to see everything, you know? We had a trip out to Oregon, and since coming back have been up north in cottage country on three separate occasions for work which is pretty much exactly where any good Canadian wants to be in the summertime! During the times when we've been home we've been holing up in what we lovingly refer to as 'the editing cave' aka our office with lots of coffee and cherries, broken up by the occasional facetime chat with my grandparents (they are so on the ball with tech stuff it kills me), walk around the block in the (thankfully) cooler air & overcast skies of the past few days, dinners out on the deck, cuddles with the cat.... it's always when a lot of stuff is happening that you need those little quiet times the most. And then you really cherish those times..... I just feel like we are in a sweet spot right now and I'm so looking forward to sharing a little bit more of what we've been up to in the upcoming days/weeks. I've also just randomly remembered, we need to make it to the drive-in at some point before the summer creeps away from us, as I have a feeling it will. Soaking up the journey, that's what it's about right now. More soon. xo, jenn
